At some point a 'capsule' was buried at the school containing an assortment of artefact's to be opened at a time in the distant future. Some Pupils thought it was buried on the "triangle" , others thought it was on the playing field. So on one of the hottest days of the year, two ardent gold diggers ventured forth, metal detector in one hand, shovels in the other, to find the missing time capsule.
This was truly one of the warmest days of the year, to say it was hot is an understatement, I mean, it was hot, no, it was really HOT!
It was first thought that the container was buried on the playing field, so many test pits were sunk to no avail. Then after many attempts to find the thing, attention was focussed on the grass triangle outside the boys ablution block entrance. Once again, nothing was found apart from a empty can of beans and a shoe horn. A further attempt was made this time the attention was cantered on the triangle of grass at the side of the assembly hall and edging against the play area.
